Specifically, this kit identifies piperazines, often substituted for ecstasy in Europe, and is sensitive to substances like MCPP and Phenylpiperazines. This product is ideal for anyone who needs to identify these substances quickly. 


What Does the MCPP Test Detect?

This test is formulated to detect MCPP (meta-ChloroPhenylPiperazine) and other related piperazines, including TMfPP. It provides a reaction that distinguishes these substances from other drugs, like ecstasy or MDMA, which are not detected by common tests such as the Marquis reagent. 

The MCPP drug test also includes an indicator for 6-APB (Benzo Fury). However, it's important to note that the sample used for this indicator has not been fully verified by laboratory testing, as stated in the color chart.

How It Works

The MCPP drug testing kit operates by utilizing a chemical reagent absorbed in silica gel within a glass ampoule. When a sample is introduced into the ampoule, a chemical reaction takes place, resulting in a color change. This color is then compared to a chart included in the kit to help identify the substance in question.

Instructions

  1. Crack Open the Ampoule: Carefully open the glass ampoule included in the kit.
  2. Insert the Sample: Add a small portion of the substance to be tested into the ampoule.
  3. Mix the Chemicals: Place the plastic lid on the ampoule and shake well to ensure the sample fully reacts with the reagent.
  4. Compare the Color Change: Observe the color change in the solution and compare it to the chart provided to identify which chemicals may be present. 

Interpreting the results

  • MCPP and Piperazines: The color reaction will align with the specific shades shown on the chart, indicating the presence of MCPP or related piperazines. 
  • 6-APB (Benzo Fury): If testing for 6-APB, note that the results are labeled as "Unverified Sample" on the chart, pending further lab testing.
